Thinking Classroom ("we", "our", or "the app") is a school monitoring tool developed for use by educational institutions in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Thinking Classroom mobile application.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Who Uses This App

This app is intended exclusively for school supervisors employed by participating schools. It is not a public app and is not intended for use by students or members of the general public. Access is granted only through credentials issued by your school's administrator.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

• Username (provided by your school administrator)
• Authentication token (generated on login, stored securely on your device)

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information beyond your username.

3.2 Usage Data

• Classroom completion records you create or update within the app
• Feedback ratings and comments you submit for thinksheets
• Date and time of record submissions

3.3 Device Information

We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or usage analytics.

4. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used solely to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session
• Display school completion and progress data relevant to your role
• Save and sync classroom records you submit

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the core functionality of the app.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Supabase (cloud database infrastructure). Data is:

• Encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encrypted at rest
• Access-controlled via Row Level Security — you can only view and edit data belonging to your assigned school

Your session token is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. It is never shared with third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party service:

No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are used.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, except:

• Your school's administrator — who manages user accounts and has access to all school data
• As required by law — if compelled by a valid legal process

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. It does not collect data from students. If you believe a minor has accessed the app, please contact your school administrator immediately.

9. Data Retention

Account and completion data is retained for the duration of your school's subscription to Thinking Classroom. Upon termination of the school's account, data is deleted within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
